Claire’s is a chain of stores selling accessories to mostly young girls. Online is the place for adults to find gifts for their younger siblings and children or just to get something a little different for themselves.
The site makes the target audience clear from the start with a range of photos of girls with the accessories available. Images change depending on the season, focusing on the likes of Christmas, Halloween, and even St. Paddy’s Day throughout the year.
It’s quick and easy to find something that you want, with sitewide offers clearly labelled from the homepage. For example, there’s a large banner labelling the buy one get one free offer available. And to entice people to buy in the moment, there is a banner at the bottom detailing the delivery options, including the best time to order by and free delivery options based on amount spent. The downside for some may be the wide range of delivery options and the click and collect options. It can be a little overwhelming with six options, but it does make it clear that Claire’s delivers around the world.
Towards the bottom, the contact and FAQ sections are clearly labelled. That’s when it’s visible that parties are available, which could be promoted elsewhere on the site for better traction.
