Nearly every area throughout the UK had a Brantano store. Although they are a bit more thinned out these days they still remain a popular footwear outlet. OK let’s review the online offering. First thing you notice on the homepage is the ability to search for a nearby store by postcode, good if you choose the click and collect delivery option. Free delivery is available subject to a minimum spend and free returns on UK orders.
Contact details can be found both from the top level and footer menu. The footer menu also contains links to the several help pages including delivery, returns and fitting information. Buying seems straight forward. I’m going to pick on schools shoes as a working example. Clicking on the product takes you to the main item page. To purchase just click on the required size, hovering over the size provides stock level information before you buy. Choose you size and then add the product to the basket, easy.
At the basket stage sizes and colour can be edited and shows total savings and cost you pay. Voucher codes can be added to the box below the product description. The checkout shows the total cost minus any discounts plus the delivery cost if applicable. Click and collect is free from store. Brantano run a number of social network pages the do offer exclusive discounts from time to time, so it’s well worth keeping in touch.
Payment can be made using a credit or debit card, there doesn’t seem to be a PayPal option available right now.
