directcosmetics.com Review
Direct Cosmetics has a slightly late 90s/early 00s look to the site, but this can help with user friendliness. The layout is tabulated and easier to follow. But there are a lot of products in view, making it slightly harder to pick out exactly what you need. Customers do benefit from the initial slider at the top, highlighting the seasonal products on offer. The slides include some of the discounts and holiday specific makeup ideas to get you started.
There’s also the sidebar on the left, which includes plenty of image windows to find a product within a specific section on the site. The menu bar is clear and very easy to use, making navigation easy. One of the downsides is the smaller text on the screen. You’ll need to make sure you have your glasses in easy reach, whether you want to read the text of the products or the links at the very bottom.
It could also be easier to get in touch with customer support. The links to the blog and the newsletter are clearer than the link to customer services. While the Customer Services page does display times and methods of contact, the writing is still so small that glasses will likely be needed.
