La Redoute offers a range of clothing and footwear, and that’s clear as soon as you visit the homepage. The downside of the Daxon site is that all the photos were of women, so it wasn’t initially clear that there is menswear and kids wear too. Daxon has now ceased trading and all traffic has been directed to La Redoute. Looking at the menu you can easily tell that La Redoute caters for all the family clothing needs.
One of the big benefits is that the offers available of buy one get one free and the ability to save 30% are clear within the middle of the images. The change of colour and use of writing there draws people in. As you delve further into the website, you learn about other offers available. There’s even £15 off and free delivery for new customers at the time of writing.
As for the navigation, that is very easy to get around. Not only is the menu clear and easy to use, but there is a large search box at the very top of the page. The Help section is also clearly displayed to make it easier to get in touch with a human. Large discounts and free delivery offers are regularly available so try and prevent yourself from being tempted to pay full price.
When clicking away from the site, a popup appears to encourage customers to buy by offering the new customer offer for signing up to the newsletter.
